Peggy Sue Got Married, page 2
A later scene features a prominent view of Peggy Sue walking with future inventor Richard Norvik in front of the Carithers Building, a classic 1940s Streamline Moderne style commercial building at 101 Kentucky Street. Carithers is now the home of a furniture store and appears exactly as it did in the film, but without the weirdly stylized Carithers sign.
The building which served as the site of Bodell's Appliance Store, owned by Charlie Bodell's father, is located at 120 Petaluma Blvd. North. The site was taken over by Bluestone Main, a gardening shop, immediately after the filming ended and the appliance store set was dismantled.
The house where Charlie (Nicholas Cage) lived was a 1950s era ranch style home located at 1006 D Street. During the summer of 2000 the house was torn down and a much larger 'McMansion' was built on the lot. Unfortunately, nothing remains of Charlie's house except for the driveway where he talked with Peggy Sue. The neighboring houses in the background still remain.
